I played baseball through high school, not since.  Played a lot of Strat-o-Matic during that time too.  I’ve read a lot about baseball, watched a lot of baseball and talked a lot of baseball since then, too.  Does this make me an expert?  Of course not.  But I found that makes me more prepared and professional than 99% of the expert talking heads to whom we have to listen for our baseball discussions.  I started this blog so we all can have better than a reporter repeating what a player told him or her when they spoke.  I started this blog so we can get better information than questions like “So how did it feel to win the game?” will bring.  The content will be generally Yankee-centric, but we’ll touch on other MLB topics occasionally, especially during the off season.  I hope you enjoy it – let me know either way.
